MARDI GRAS

Mardi Gras is the name of a carnival which is celebrated in New Orleans every year in February and is very well-known around the world. Mardi Gras is the French term for Fat Tuesday and celebrations concentrate around this date. People dress up with colourful costumes and there are parades and events every day throughout the Carnival season.
