PRESIDENT´S DAY

Presidents' Day is celebrated in the USA and is intended to honor all the American presidents, but most significantly George Washington and Abraham Lincoln who were both born in February and were both noteworthy presidents for different reasons and during important historical events. It is a federal holiday celebrated on the third Monday of February.
George Washington was born on February 22, 1732 and he was the first president of the United States of America. Thus, this federal holiday honors the accomplishments of the man known as "The Father of his Country".
